1. The service
COM1 is a terminal-inspired messaging and integration app operated by Najad. The service may include direct/group communications, optional encryption, files, voice, AI requests, bot integrations, HTTP requests, SSH and Morse features. Features depend on platform, deployment and account permissions.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for safeguarding your user ID and password, using your account lawfully, and ensuring that any users who share your device or tokens are authorized. Don't impersonate others, bypass access controls or attempt to discover private accounts without permission. Account recovery may be limited because the app does not require personal email addresses.
3. Content and acceptable use
You retain responsibility for messages, files, commands and integrations you submit. Do not use COM1 to harass, threaten, exploit others, transmit unlawful content, compromise systems, send spam or conduct unauthorized security testing. You must have permission to access a server before using SSH or automation features against it.
4. Third-party services and external systems
If you connect an AI service, API endpoint, bot, SSH host or another external tool, you are responsible for your usage, credentials, billing, destination permissions and the third-party terms that apply. AI outputs, terminal commands and generated responses can be wrong or unsafe. Review them before acting.
5. Privacy and security
See the Privacy Policy, Community guidelines, Child safety standards and Security notes. Standard chat content is not end-to-end encrypted; the optional Secure Link mode has documented limitations. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect delivery, permanent restoration or the recall of already distributed content.
6. Free/SYSOP features and changes
Available functionality, storage quotas and backup behavior may vary by account tier or feature flag. Any paid feature, fee, subscription, renewal or refund policy must be presented through the relevant purchase flow if one is offered. This website does not claim that purchasing or subscribing is currently available. Service components or features may be changed or discontinued with reasonable notice where appropriate.
7. Availability, suspension and liability
We may restrict accounts or functions when necessary to address abuse, operational risk or legal obligations. The service is provided subject to applicable law, without a guarantee that every integration, delivery or device feature will always work. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not permit us to exclude.
8. Termination and deletion
You can stop using COM1 and request account deletion through the account-deletion page. Certain operational data may be retained if legally required; copies already received by others cannot necessarily be recalled.
