AI is a participant.

Choose a provider, bring your key, and decide what context leaves your chat.

Supported AI services

COM1 includes commands for Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Mistral and Ollama. A reply appears as a virtual participant such as gemini@ai, using the existing conversation interface.

Configure a provider

Open C:\CONFIG → AI Providers and enter your provider API key, model ID and, where supported, base URL. Keys are stored in platform secure storage. External provider service terms and any API charges apply separately.

/gemini explain the error in this log
/openai --noctx how does MQTT QoS 1 work?
/ollama --last 15 summarize what we decided

Control the context

  • In a group chat, a normal AI prompt can use locally available prior group messages. Use --noctx to send only the current prompt.
  • In a direct chat, the default is prompt-only; using --last N or #PACKET can explicitly include context.
  • Replying to or tagging a message takes priority as context. Tagging a supported image intentionally sends actual image bytes to vision-capable models; tagged voice can be transcribed for analysis.
  • Expiring /once and /burn messages and locked packets are excluded from normal AI context according to the implementation notes.
/gemini --last 10 what did the team agree?
/claude #A31F explain this packet
/deepseek --noctx review this function

Think before you send

AI requests leave the device for the configured provider. If you include conversation content, images, logs or transcribed voice, that material is submitted under the provider's own privacy policy. Verify the recipient and remove credentials or confidential material before invoking AI. COM1 is not itself an AI service or a guarantee of AI answer accuracy.
