I can't sign in or recover my password
COM1 uses your chosen user ID and password, not a personal email. Check your ID exactly, including characters. The current registration approach does not provide standard email recovery. Contact support without sending your password.
I cleared app data and my Free message history disappeared
Free delivered history is designed to become local-only after durable delivery; uninstalling or clearing app storage can destroy it. Do not assume a server backup exists. See Getting started.
I am not receiving push notifications
Review notification permissions, device battery/background restrictions, connection health and the app's notification diagnostics. COM1's app documentation describes Firebase token registration and an outbox pipeline; server-side setup and device permissions are both required. Don't share device tokens publicly.
/http cannot reach a local service
HTTP requests originate on your device. Ensure the destination is reachable from that device, not merely from another computer. On some mobile platforms, cleartext HTTP is restricted by platform security settings. Prefer HTTPS; do not weaken device security globally to bypass a single failure.
AI provider returns an error
Confirm the provider key, model identifier, optional base URL, network access, and your external API billing/usage limits. Avoid exposing keys in support tickets.
Secure Link messages won't decrypt
Verify each participant has the same exact channel key, secret and expected key version. Confirm fingerprints out of band. A lost secret may be irrecoverable.
Account deletion fails
COM1 includes a Settings → Delete Account action that invokes the com1-delete-account server function. It can fail if its required Edge Function or database migration is not deployed. You can also request deletion outside the app on the Account deletion page.
