Connect to Termino.

Authorize a minimal command-line launcher to access selected COM1 messages without handing it your primary COM1 login session.

Availability: This guide is based on the supplied COM1 app and Termino Pro 0.13.2-pro8 implementation. Real-time priority filtering needs the matching Supabase bridge and V3 migration deployed. A source-code ZIP does not establish that the production backend has been updated.

What Termino can do

Termino is a separate Android launcher at termino.najad.dev. Once linked, you can read a recent COM1 inbox, send a text message by handle, reply to a message, mark messages read and optionally show a filtered live stream directly in the Termino terminal.

CapabilityScope
Read recent COM1 inboxEligible conversations, subject to COM1 access rules
Send / reply / mark readSupported text actions authorized through the device bridge
Foreground live modePolls new eligible events when Termino Home is visible
Important sendersPick handles to surface in important-only mode
Bot alertsOptional filtering for eligible priority bot alerts
Revoke accessFrom Termino or COM1 Settings → Linked Apps

Connect Termino to your account

  1. Install COM1 and sign in to your own account.
  2. Install a compatible Termino Pro build and type link com1.
  3. COM1 opens a LINK TERMINO approval page showing requested access: recent inbox, send, reply and mark read.
  4. Choose ACCEPT to authorize. COM1 sends a one-time callback specifically to the Termino Android package. Or select CANCEL.
  5. Back in Termino, run com1 status to confirm the link.
# In Termino (not the COM1 chat composer)

com1 status
com1 inbox 20
com1 send raziq Hello
com1 reply 42 yes, after Asr
com1 read 42

COM1 issues a separate scoped, revocable device token. The primary COM1 account password, authentication session and refresh token are not shared with Termino. Token callbacks are bound to the intended Termino Android package. COM1 Settings includes a Linked Apps screen with revocation controls and the device's live preferences.

Live messages, important people and bot alerts

Termino's COM1 live mode operates while Termino Home is in the foreground. It is not the same as a perpetual background push delivery service. The selected filter and important handles are stored as link preferences on the COM1 side.

com1 live on # important-only stream
com1 live all # all eligible messages
com1 live off # stop live updates

A regular bot message does not necessarily qualify as a priority alert. The backend applies eligibility rules for message requests, blocked senders, deletions, Secure Link restrictions and bot-alert filtering. When a new eligible event appears, Termino may present a clickable [reply] shortcut if the message supports replying.

Security and privacy boundaries

  • Linking is optional and consent-based. COM1's existing session continues to work without Termino.
  • Normal COM1 chats are not end-to-end encrypted. The COM1 backend processes standard message content according to the privacy policy.
  • Secure Link/PSK content stays outside this bridge. Termino does not receive Secure Link keys or plaintext Secure Link messages.
  • Limited capabilities. The link does not give Termino general access to every COM1 setting, private file, SSH session, AI account or voice/video call.
  • Local device token. Termino's client uses Android Keystore to protect the bridge token. The supplied update excludes COM1 commands and message content from the saved terminal transcript.
  • Revoke at any time. Use unlink com1 in Termino or go to COM1 → Settings → Linked Apps and tap REVOKE.

Common problems

COM1 does not open: check that the compatible COM1 app is installed and that you are signed in. Approval succeeds but the inbox fails: check your network and verify the COM1 Edge Function and database migration are deployed. Messages do not appear automatically: run com1 live status, inspect important handles and bot alerts, and keep Termino Home visible during the check. Some messages never appear: encrypted, deleted, blocked or unaccepted messages are intentionally excluded.

Remember: COM1 chat commands use a leading slash, such as /help or /bot. Termino launcher commands do not use the slash. Find the complete Termino command reference.
